Culinary Services Supervisor

The role of a Food Service Supervisor is essential in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our culinary operations at PAPA JOHN'S PIZZA. This position involves overseeing the daily activities of food preparation and service, ensuring that our standards are met consistently.
Educational Requirements- Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
- Fast-paced food service establishment.
- Restaurant setting focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules effectively.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and service.
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure that food quality and service standards are upheld.
- Prepare financial budgets and cost projections.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Compile and submit operational reports as required.
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
- Oversee a team of 5-10 individuals, including:
- Food and beverage servers
- Food service counter attendants and food preparers
- Kitchen and food service assistants
- First Aid Certification is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of working under pressure.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout shifts.
- Willingness to stand for extended periods.
- Strong client focus and service orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in food service supervision.
- This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week.
