Position Overview

The role of the Food Service Supervisor is crucial in ensuring that our culinary operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong leader who can manage staff and maintain high standards of food quality and service.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years in a similar role or equivalent experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective work schedules to optimize staff productivity.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff to ensure quality service.
  • Provide training to new employees on their job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Recruit and hire qualified food service personnel.
  • Ensure that all food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
  • Prepare financial budgets and cost projections for the department.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Compile and submit operational reports as required.
  • Assist in preparing food order summaries for the culinary team.
  • Supervise the assembly of food trays to ensure presentation standards are met.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Certifications
  • Possession of a Safe Food Handling certificate is required.
