Position Overview

The Culinary Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing kitchen activities within a bustling restaurant environment. This position requires a blend of leadership, organizational skills, and culinary knowledge to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role
Work Environment

The work setting is primarily within a restaurant that operates in a hot kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules efficiently.
  • Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates for kitchen operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Compile and submit operational reports.
  • Possess knowledge of the restaurant's culinary specialties.
  • Supervise the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for kitchen staff.
