Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 1 month and up to 7 months of relevant experience is necessary.
Work Environment

The work is conducted in a hot kitchen setting, typical of restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules effectively.
  • Order necessary food and kitchen supplies to maintain operations.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff regarding their job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure that all food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
  • Prepare financial budgets and cost estimates for kitchen operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Compile and submit necessary reports on kitchen performance.
  • Possess knowledge of the culinary styles and offerings of the establishment.
  • Supervise the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food service trolleys.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for kitchen staff.
