Job Title: Compensation Strategy Advisor

As a Compensation Strategy Advisor at National Bank, you will play a key role in developing, implementing, and administering compensation programs and policies for various employee groups. Your leadership, relationship-building skills, and expertise will positively impact the Bank's business sectors.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze the performance of various sales compensation programs within the Bank's business sectors.
  • Collaborate with the strategic compensation partner to conduct analyses and make recommendations related to compensation practices, including job evaluation, market benchmarking, and equity-based programs.
  • Advise stakeholders on the application of policies, practices, and programs, ensuring sound governance and compliance.
  • Manage compensation allocation processes, including technological aspects, communications, and provisioning.
  • Plan, execute, and control assigned activities to ensure the proper functioning of processes and contribute to their optimization.
  • Represent the sector in various committees, organizations, or internal and external bodies for projects or mandates.
  • Stay informed of market trends and legislative changes to ensure practices comply with current laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet the sector's objectives.
Your Team:

You will report to the Senior Director and work closely with the compensation team to design, monitor, and evaluate sales compensation program performance. Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree related to the field and four years of relevant experience OR Master's degree related to the field and two years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in compensation, with a focus on sales compensation.
  • Quantitative analysis skills.
  • Strong desire to deepen knowledge in the financial sector and performance measures.
  • Knowledge of the financial field is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Rigor, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative mindset.
  • Proactive approach.
Languages:

English and French are the primary languages required for this role. You will need to work closely with colleagues outside Quebec.
