Your Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee drill rig operations, ensuring safe and efficient logging of soil and rock cores during field activities.
  2. Install monitoring wells, gather water level data, and support hydrological research by maintaining monitoring equipment.
  3. Conduct various aquifer testing methods, including pumping tests to evaluate groundwater flow and aquifer characteristics.
  4. Collect samples of soil, groundwater, and surface water to aid in data analysis and environmental assessments.
  5. Coordinate with subcontractors and manage equipment for field operations to ensure seamless execution.
  6. Maintain project-related field notes and data, ensuring accurate records for analysis and reporting.
  7. Analyze field data, create visual representations, and contribute to comprehensive project reports.
  8. Collaborate with hydrogeologists, engineers, and team members to achieve project objectives.
  9. Adhere to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  10. Promote a safety-first culture, setting an example for colleagues in the field.

Qualifications:

  1. Diploma or degree in hydrogeology, environmental science, geology, or a related discipline.
  2. One to two years of relevant experience is preferred.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in field documentation.
  4. Enthusiastic, adaptable, and responsible; possessing a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  5. Valid driver's license and readiness to travel to various project sites as necessary.
  6. Awareness of health and safety protocols and a commitment to a safety-conscious work environment.
  7. Ability to work effectively within a team and engage with clients and stakeholders.
