About the Role

FUCHS Lubricants Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Field Service and Application Specialist. As a key member of our sales and technical support team, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice and guidance to our customers in the industrial and commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Product Evaluation: Plan and conduct field trials to assess the performance of new products and provide detailed reports to our technical team.
  2. Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to customers, acting as a liaison between our customers and our laboratory team.
  3. Market Insights and Collaboration: Work closely with our sales team to identify new product needs and understand the competitive landscape in the industrial and commercial sectors.
  4. Product Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our industrial fluids and greases products, including their applications, uses, and maintenance requirements.
  5. Sales Support: Offer product recommendations, provide technical training, and offer solutions to customers to meet their lubrication needs.
  6. Business Development: Support sales campaigns and proposals to drive business growth and expansion in the industrial and commercial sectors.
Requirements
  1. Language Skills: Bi-lingual in both French and English.
  2. Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Automotive preferred).
  3. Experience: 3+ years of experience in lubricants, preferably in commercial and industrial segments, with roles in field service, technical sales, or lubricant management.
  4. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), strong analytical skills, and ability to interpret laboratory tests.
  5. Certifications: Certified Lubrication Specialist (STLE) is a plus.
Travel Requirements

60%-80% travel within Eastern Canada is required for this role.
