Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruitment Assistant to join our team at Act Now Employment Services. As a key member of our staffing team, you will be responsible for coordinating recruitment efforts and providing exceptional support to our clients and candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment Coordination: Prepare and post job notices and advertisements to attract top talent, and screen applicants to ensure they meet the required qualifications.
  • Candidate Management: Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, and review candidate inventories to ensure a strong pool of candidates.
  • Interview Coordination: Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and provide logistical support to ensure a smooth interview process.
  • Staffing Support: Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, and supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Recruit and hire staff to meet the needs of our clients, and ensure that all hiring processes are followed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in recruitment or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-40 hour workweek. The work language is English, and the work term is permanent.
