About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Officer to join our team at GTA Recruitment Group. As a Recruitment Officer, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and coordinating the selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing Planning: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to ensure the company's operational needs are met.
  • Recruitment Strategies: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, including preparing and posting notices and advertisements.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Selection Process: Coordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates, and notify applicants of results of the selection process.
  • Onboarding: Prepare job offers and advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Staff Development: Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training, and supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in recruitment or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player.
