Position Overview:
As a key member of the Art Shows Canada team, the Corporate Sponsorship Manager will report directly to the Director of Art Shows Canada. This role is pivotal in fostering and nurturing robust sponsor relationships, driving exhibition space sales, and overseeing the expansion of the VIP program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sponsorship Strategy & Development: Collaborate with leadership to formulate effective sponsorship strategies for major art events.
  • Lead Sponsor Development: Manage all phases of sponsor engagement, from conceptualization and outreach to contracting and execution.
  • Relationship Management: Oversee multiple sponsor partnerships, ensuring all commitments and timelines are met.
  • Partner Engagement: Develop year-round engagement opportunities for sponsors, acting as the primary contact during events.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor and manage event budgets and sales objectives, contributing to overall revenue goals.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Compile and present comprehensive post-event reports to sponsors, highlighting success metrics and engagement outcomes.
  • VIP Program Coordination: Assist in curating a year-round schedule of exclusive VIP events and initiatives.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with various internal teams to ensure cohesive execution of events and effective communication with sponsors.
  • Onsite Management: Supervise sponsor presence and activities during events, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Business Development: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in collaboration with partners and stakeholders.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as necessary, with a preference for candidates who are bilingual.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in sales, preferably in sponsorship or business development.
  • Business Acumen: Proven track record in generating new business and identifying revenue streams.
  • Project Management: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Partnership Development: Expertise in creating beneficial partnerships that enhance organizational goals.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to leverage data for strategic decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proficient in interacting with a diverse range of stakeholders, including artists and sponsors.
  • Multitasking: Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for the Arts: A genuine interest in art and culture, with the ability to communicate its value.

This hybrid role offers flexibility with a mix of in-office and remote work. Compensation includes a commission structure and a comprehensive benefits package.
