At Make-A-Wish Canada, we're on a mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. As a Development Manager, Corporate, you'll play a vital role in developing and executing strategies to increase revenue and meet budgeting goals. Your expertise in managing corporate donors, including budgeting, sponsorship solicitation, and creative development, will be instrumental in driving our fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute short-term and long-term development goals, ensuring increased revenue year-over-year focusing on Corporate Gifts.
  • Manage the logistics and execution of our corporate giving programs in Ontario.
  • Strengthen and expand revenue development opportunities with existing donors through cultivation and implementation of strategies.
  • Prospect research to identify and recruit new business opportunities will be a focus as well as developing customized stewardship strategies.
  • Collaborate with national and regional staff as appropriate in fulfilling the mission, strategy, and goals of MAWC.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of all fundraising initiatives.
  • Utilize strong Salesforce knowledge to input and track donor activities, reporting.
  • Act as an ambassador and spokesperson for the Foundation, specifically when communicating with donors and other stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Fundraising, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a fundraising/management role in the not-for-profit or charitable sectors.
  • Experience in managing corporate donors, including budgeting, sponsorship solicitation, creative development.
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising activities, donor relations, and relationship management.
  • Ability to lead a team and coach others to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to exercise sound judgment in relations with a diverse group of volunteers, staff, clients, vendors, suppliers, and the public.
