Job Summary:

The Canadian Red Cross is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Partnerships Manager to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic partnerships with corporate sponsors to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate partnerships strategy to drive revenue growth and support the Canadian Red Cross's mission.
  • Identify, qualify, and cultivate new corporate partners, as well as maintain and grow existing relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute joint fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Manage and execute sponsorship agreements, ensuring timely and effective delivery of benefits and services.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure the success of corporate partnerships and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, donors, and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education and seven years of relevant fundraising experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in sales, sponsorship, marketing, business development, and fundraising.
  • CFRE or comparable designation or in progress an asset.
  • High level of proficiency and experience with fundraising software, preferably Blackbaud and/or other CRM system.
  • Proven productivity and collaboration computer skills, including Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and experience working within a matrix / complex organization.
  • Experience using CRM database.
  • Proven track record of success in a quota-based sales or fund development environment - $1MM+.

Working Conditions:

  • The majority of this work will be performed in a safe and clean environment.
  • Travel may be required for meetings and training purposes.
  • This position will require working non-traditional hours, especially during times of disaster or appeal.
  • Access to a vehicle is required.
