About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Mary Browns Chicken. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Evaluate and optimize daily restaurant operations to ensure seamless service delivery, including managing inventory, supplies, and equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Financial Management: Monitor revenues, labour costs, and cash handling to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales growth and increase brand awareness.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for staff and customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Language: English
  • Availability: Available to work 40 to 48 hours per week
