Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Description

Mary Browns Chicken is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Evaluate daily operations, monitor revenues, and plan and organize daily operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Staff Management: Supervise staff, train staff, and conduct performance reviews to ensure high-quality service and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, address customer complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, balance cash, and complete balance sheets and related forms.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Marketing: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our brand and products.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • Ability to work 40 to 48 hours per week
  • Availability for the advertised start date
  • Legal ability to work in Canada
