About the Role

Nucor Rebar Fabrication, a leading fabricator, installer, and distributor of concrete reinforcing steel and related products, is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our Kelowna team as an Office Administrator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Branch by performing tasks that are repetitive in nature and minimally complex.
  • Human Resources Support: Assist with maintenance of record-keeping, including safety, workers compensation, and other related tasks.
  • Production Scheduling: Coordinate shop production schedule with the Shop Manager and detailers to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory support and basic accounting/bookkeeping tasks.
  • Sales Support: Assist sales and estimating staff in the preparation of sales bids and project quotations.
  • Customer Service: Develop exceptional working relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain strict confidentiality with regard to Human Resources and payroll issues.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Two-year diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent written/verbal communication skills, math skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to coordinate multiple tasks, and work under deadline pressure.
