About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Oliver Bonacini Cafe Grill - Blue Mountain. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Collaborate with our culinary team to plan and execute menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise and train our kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to prepare and present our menu items.
  • Inventory Management: Manage our inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have the necessary resources to meet our menu demands.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control food costs to ensure we are meeting our budgetary requirements.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all menu items meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Food Safety Certificate.
