Job Summary

The primary objective of a Travel Consultant is to provide exceptional customer service and sell comprehensive travel packages to clients, encompassing accommodations, activities, and transportation. This role requires cultivating strong relationships with customers and delivering high-quality service to drive sales and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a brand ambassador for Tourism Whistler, embodying the company's purpose and vision with enthusiasm and dedication.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes for online vacation requests, and address customer questions and concerns.
  • Execute outbound calls to clients, including concierge services, upselling opportunities, and informational calls.
  • Effectively communicate with customers through online chat, providing quotes and pursuing sales leads generated through this channel.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely, professional, and friendly manner.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of the travel industry and Tourism Whistler's offerings.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, through various channels.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office and cloud-based applications.
