About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Engagement Specialist to join our team at myGwork - LGBTQ+ Business Community. As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will play a key role in executing our community strategy, building relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering a world-class guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Community Strategy Execution

Collaborate with our leadership team to bring our community strategy to life, focusing on building strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders.

  1. Relationship Building

Establish and maintain relationships with key community partners, including Ambassadors, Sweat Collective, and studio owners, to increase new guest acquisition and retention.

  1. Community Engagement

Engage with the local community to identify future partnership opportunities and increase our store's standing as a community hub.

  1. Guest Experience

Connect with guests on the floor to assess their unique needs, provide technical product education, and incorporate omnichannel programs into a seamless end-to-end guest experience.

  1. Event Support

Attend, support, and/or host local and regional community events to build relationships and increase brand awareness.

  1. Product Seeding

Execute the product seeding strategy through community partners and Ambassadors to increase brand visibility and drive sales.

  1. Business Insights

Review community relevant business data and metrics to identify and share insights and recommendations with our leadership team regarding community events, projects, or initiatives.

  1. Team Collaboration

Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment by welcoming and celebrating differences to ensure a supportive, productive, and fun experience for all team members.

Requirements
  1. Eligibility

Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the store is located.

  1. Travel Requirements

Must have the ability to travel to assigned store with reliable transportation methods.

Experience
  1. Cumulative Experience

1 year of cumulative experience in customer service or engagement, grassroots marketing, brand engagement or community building.

Job Assets
  1. Education

High school diploma/GED/equivalent, or above.

  1. Experience

Building or maintaining relationships with clients, groups, or partners; motivating team members to accomplish goals or activities.

Work is accomplished as part of a team, sometimes independently, and sometimes using a computer or other technical devices.

Compensation & Benefits Package

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional team performance. The base pay range for this position is from $20.50- $23.58/hour subject to minimum wage in the location. The base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. This position has a target bonus of an additional $3 per hour, subject to certain requirements and the Company's discretion, bringing the total target compensation range between $23.50- $26.58/ hour.
