Position Overview: Canadian Blood Services is seeking a Regular full-time Community Development Manager to become a vital part of our Donor Relations & Field Operations team.

Role Summary: This position operates in a hybrid work setting, requiring a blend of on-site and remote engagement to effectively support our mission. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an in-person presence for a minimum of 40% of their working hours, adaptable based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your planning and communication expertise to organize and lead information sessions and recruitment presentations tailored to specific demographics within the community.
  • Employ your interpersonal skills to identify and engage potential donors through networking, referrals, and outreach initiatives, while striving to enhance the donor experience and achieve feedback objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Program Manager and Public Affairs team to execute recruitment strategies, including promotional activities and digital content, while serving as a media representative when necessary.
  • Foster positive relationships across the organization, particularly with the Integrated Supply Chain team, to ensure cohesive operations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in management, sales, account management, or corporate development, with a preference for candidates holding a degree in marketing or business administration.
  • Demonstrated success in closing opportunities and a strong motivation to excel.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a comfort level in public speaking to diverse audiences.
  • A solid track record in managing and delivering complex projects effectively.
  • Possession of a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with the Burlington area and its surroundings is essential.

Expectations:
