Dr. Seema Steffens Dentistry is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our growing practice in Mississauga.
We are looking for a team player who is organized, communicates effectively, and takes responsibility. Above all, we seek an individual who genuinely enjoys providing care to patients and has a natural passion for dentistry.
- Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists with various procedures, including taking impressions, x-rays, crown/bridge procedures, and cosmetic dentistry tasks.
- Maintain a sterile and organized work environment by adhering to strict sterilization and instrument reprocessing protocols.
- Provide excellent patient care by ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the dental practice by assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- HARP Certification required.
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant.
- Comprehensive knowledge of sterilization and instrument reprocessing procedures.
- Availability to work some evenings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer use and electronic dental records systems.
