About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Sharing Smiles Dental. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for dental examinations, ensuring they are comfortable and relaxed throughout the process.
  • Supply Management: Order dental and office supplies, maintaining a well-stocked inventory to ensure seamless operations.
  • Administrative Support: Perform administrative functions for the dental laboratory, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Front Desk Operations: Provide exceptional customer service, handling reception and clerical duties with a smile.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring timely and efficient use of our dental team's time.
  • X-ray Services: Take and develop X-rays, providing critical diagnostic information for our dentists.
  • Financial Transactions: Invoice patients for dental services, maintaining accurate financial records.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a dental setting.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
