About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motel Operations Manager to join our team at Majer's Motel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our motel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Policies and Procedures

Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations, ensuring that they are aligned with our company's goals and objectives.

Staff Management

Recruit, hire, and supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our guests.

Performance Management

Conduct performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and coaching to help staff improve their performance.

Training and Development

Develop and implement training programs to ensure that staff have the skills and knowledge they need to provide exceptional service.

Customer Service

Ensure that our guests receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.

Financial Management

Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, ensuring that our financial performance is in line with our company's goals and objectives.

Marketing and Promotion

Develop and implement marketing plans, promoting our motel and its services to attract new guests and retain existing ones.

Maintenance and Repairs

Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities, ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and that any issues are addressed promptly.

Complaint Resolution

Respond promptly to customer complaints, resolving issues and ensuring that our guests are satisfied with their stay.

Requirements
  • Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as hospitality or business administration.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.

Language

Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Computer Skills

Proficient in MS Word and MS Office, with experience in using computerized systems to manage operations.

Work Environment

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and attention to detail.

Personal Qualities

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, guests, and other stakeholders.
