Motel Operations Manager

We are a reputable motel chain seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Motel Operations Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our motel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Operational Policies
Design and implement effective policies and procedures to ensure seamless motel operations, including staff management, guest services, and inventory control.
Staff Management and DevelopmentRecruit, train, and supervise a team of staff members to ensure excellent guest service, efficient operations, and high-quality performance.
Guest Services and ExperienceEnsure exceptional guest experiences through prompt and courteous service, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
Financial ManagementPrepare and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective operations.
Marketing and PromotionDevelop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain guests, including social media promotion, advertising, and public relations.
Inventory Control and MaintenanceOversee inventory management, maintenance, and repairs to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for guests.
Supervision and LeadershipSupervise and lead a team of staff members, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure high-quality performance and exceptional guest experiences.
Requirements and Qualifications- Education and Experience
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1-2 years of experience in hotel or motel management, or equivalent experience.
Language and CommunicationExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests, staff, and suppliers.
Computer and Technology SkillsProficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Access, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
Work Environment and ConditionsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and to work under pressure to meet deadlines and guest expectations.
Personal Qualities and SkillsExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and suppliers, and to provide exceptional customer service.
