Job Title: Technical Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our team at Wesco Distribution LP. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products to existing and potential clients, both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation of sales and orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to clients.
  • Prepare sales or other contracts, negotiating terms and conditions to meet client needs.
  • Promote sales to existing clients, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Identify and solicit potential clients, building relationships and establishing trust.
  • Assess client's needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service, highlighting value and ROI.
  • Represent companies that export and import products or services to and from foreign countries, navigating complex international trade regulations.
  • Conduct sales transactions, ensuring seamless and efficient delivery of products to clients.
  • Prepare and administer sales contracts, managing client relationships and expectations.
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates, providing transparent and accurate information.
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Reach to clients after sale or signed contracts to provide ongoing support, addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods or services, educating and informing clients about our products.
  • Resolve product and service related problems, providing prompt and effective solutions.
  • Advertise and/or promote products, sales or services, leveraging marketing and sales strategies to drive growth and revenue.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in sales or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
