Cansel is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team as an Account Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the British Columbia territory.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a young team in selling technical solutions to surveyors, engineers, education, and government institutions.
- Identify new business opportunities by analyzing customer needs, industry trends, and market developments.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication and account management.
- Provide exceptional customer service to key accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in trade shows, training events, and other industry-related activities to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Regional Sales Manager, highlighting key achievements and pipeline developments.
- Proven experience as a surveyor or in a related field, with a strong understanding of technical sales and customer relationships.
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in a competitive market.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and drive.
- Willingness to spend 40-60% of time on the road, visiting customers and developing new business opportunities.
