Qualifications- Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
The successful candidate will work in an office setting, contributing to a collaborative and dynamic team atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and redirect telephone and electronic inquiries.
- Organize, process, and verify applications, receipts, and various documents.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, both manually and electronically.
- Facilitate communication by sending and receiving messages.
- Perform basic bookkeeping and financial record-keeping tasks.
- Prepare and format documents for presentation.
- Generate invoices and manage bank deposits.
- Provide general information and assistance to clients and the public.
- Photocopy and compile documents for distribution, mailing, and filing.
- Label, file, and retrieve documents as needed.
- Locate and remove requested files efficiently.
- Maintain, update, and retrieve financial data accurately.
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and Simply Accounting.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
- Demonstrates adaptability and analytical thinking.
