About the Role:
At Yarmouth appliances and home furnishings, we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the position of Administrative Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to our staff and management.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings
- Respond to telephone calls, electronic enquiries, and messages in a timely and professional manner
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate contacts or service areas
- Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
Requirements:
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role
- Permanent position with 30 to 35 hours of work per week
- Fluency in English
