About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Specialist to join our team at EllisDon. As a Proposal Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the Proposal Manager with the timely management and production of proposal responses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Proposal Manager in the development and submission of high-quality proposal responses.
- Collaborate with pursuit teams to ensure timely and effective proposal development.
- Write and edit proposal content, including executive summaries, project descriptions, and resumes.
- Lead status and review meetings to ensure pursuit teams are informed and on schedule.
- Manage the design and presentation of proposal content to ensure visual clarity and consistency with EllisDon brand standards.
- Be accountable for all aspects of proposal management, including working with the Proposal Manager, technical content leads, and subject matter experts.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in proposal development, preferably in the construction, architecture, or engineering industry.
- Degree or Diploma in Commerce, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent background in marketing, communication, graphic design, project management, or administration.
- Strong process skills, including scheduling, coordination, and execution of complex projects under challenging timelines.
- Excellent writing and proofreading skills, with attention to detail and grammar.
- Strong design sensibility and ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Word and PowerPoint, and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
