About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Il Covo Trattoria. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our dishes are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.

Team Management

Lead and motivate our kitchen team to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to deliver exceptional service.

Inventory Management

Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.

Quality Control

Inspect and taste dishes to ensure that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Staff Training

Train and develop our kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

Requirements
  • Education

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role.

Skills

Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Language

Fluent in English.
