About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Cardinal Health. As a key member of our healthcare operations team, you will be responsible for leading the development and completion of RFx project lifecycles from inception to award.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead RFx and Contract Lifecycle Process: Develop and implement RFx project plans, manage timelines, and ensure successful project delivery.
  2. Sourcing and Qualifying New Bid Opportunities: Identify and qualify new bid opportunities from various bid sites, and develop strategies to increase business growth.
  3. Project Management and Coordination: Facilitate communication, coordinate kick-off calls, and work with cross-functional teams to develop competitive responses.
  4. Liaison with Customers: Liaise with customers to seek clarification, coordinate questions, and address RFx requirements.
  5. Review and Analysis: Review RFx documents, contract templates, and identify contractual risks and collaborate with internal stakeholders for approvals.
  6. Proposal Development: Draft proposals and agreements with customers, where required.
  7. Submission and Archiving: Coordinate, collect, and assemble RFx materials and responses, and ensure timely submission and archiving.
  8. Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor the status of submitted tenders and RFPs, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  9. Contract Award and Finalization: Redline RFx contract awards, and coordinate with internal teams to finalize and sign contracts.
  10. System Maintenance and Updates: Update and maintain systems with relevant data for awarded business.
  11. Escalation Resolution and Response: Support escalation resolution and response, and coordinate activities between customers and internal teams.
  12. Business Relationship Development: Develop business relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective coordination of tendering processes.
  13. Process Improvement: Participate in process and system improvement initiatives, and apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to drive business growth.
Requirements
  1. RFx/Contract Management Experience: 2-4 years of experience in RFx/contract management, with a preference for candidates with solid experience managing contracts or equivalent.
  2. Education: BA, BS, or equivalent experience in a related field, with an advanced degree preferred.
  3. Business Acumen: Proven time management and organizational skills, strong business acumen, and excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  4. Analytical Thinking: Detail-oriented, focused on quality of deliverables, and able to execute in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
  5. Problem-Solving: Driven to continuously look for improvements, with a problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset.
  6. Autonomy: Ability to work in a self-directed/autonomous manner, in an office or remote setting.
  7. Professionalism: Maintains high standards of professionalism and integrity.
  8. Industry Experience: Professional experience in the medical industry, distribution organization, and/or large multinational organization an asset.
