Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2747234 ONTARIO INC. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and train a team of 16-20 food service staff to ensure excellent customer service and quality food preparation.
    • Establish and maintain efficient work schedules to meet business demands.
  • Food Service Operations
    • Estimate and manage food and supply inventory to ensure optimal stock levels.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions.
    • Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure quality control standards are met.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
    • Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and have a positive dining experience.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit budgets and cost estimates to inform business decisions.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively with the restaurant team to achieve business objectives.
    • Communicate clearly and efficiently with staff, management, and customers to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physical demands.
