The Financial Advisory Consultant plays a pivotal role within a collaborative team, dedicated to assisting clients in defining their financial aspirations, assessing their financial circumstances, and formulating tailored strategies to achieve their specific financial goals. This position emphasizes teamwork to enhance the collective portfolio through client referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Efficiently manages time and resources to optimize productivity.
  2. Creates and executes strategic and tactical plans, addressing client challenges effectively.
  3. Customizes investment strategies for clients, taking into account their objectives, constraints, regulatory considerations, liquidity requirements, and tax implications to develop personalized financial plans.
  4. Analyzes client data, including financial statements, risk profiles, and cash flow availability.
  5. Collaborates within a team to expand the business portfolio by identifying valuable products and services for clients and generating additional business through referrals.
  6. Conducts investment research and remains updated on market developments to provide clients with current financial insights.
  7. Works collaboratively to maintain a business portfolio and strives to meet or exceed annual sales objectives.

Educational Qualifications:

  1. Preferred: University Degree

Experience Requirements:

  1. 3+ years of experience required; 5+ years preferred in financial services.

Licensing Requirements:

  1. FINRA Registrations: Series 7; Series 63; Series 65; Series 66

Physical Requirements:

  1. Primarily sedentary work.

Career Level:

7IC

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 3 years in the financial services sector.
  2. FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or a combination of Series 63 & 65) registrations must be acquired within the initial 120 days of employment.
  3. State health and life insurance licenses must be obtained within the first 120 days as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree.
  2. 5+ years of experience in financial services.
  3. Prior experience as an advisor or consultant.
  4. Familiarity with institutional retirement plans.
  5. Experience with MoneyGuidePro or similar financial planning tools.

Additional Information:

This position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence at least three days a week.
