Administrative Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Specialist to join our team at Ancaster Cardiology Cost Sharing Corp. As an Administrative Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our cardiology department.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling and Coordination
- Schedule and confirm appointments with patients and healthcare professionals
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals, including preparing medical reports and correspondence
- Manage filing systems and maintain confidentiality of patient records
- Office Management
- Order supplies and maintain inventory of office materials
- Develop and implement office procedures and routines to ensure efficient operations
- Communication
- Interpret language for individuals and small groups, as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
- Education
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
- Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week in a clinic setting. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
