About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Specialist to join our team at Ancaster Cardiology Cost Sharing Corp. As an Administrative Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our cardiology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Coordination
    • Schedule and confirm appointments with patients and healthcare professionals
    • Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals, including preparing medical reports and correspondence
    • Manage filing systems and maintain confidentiality of patient records
  • Office Management
    • Order supplies and maintain inventory of office materials
    • Develop and implement office procedures and routines to ensure efficient operations
  • Communication
    • Interpret language for individuals and small groups, as needed
    • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week in a clinic setting. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
