Clinical Counsellor Opportunity at pt Health
pt Health is seeking a committed Registered Clinical Counsellor to become a part of their virtual team, with occasional in-person engagements. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering assessment and therapeutic services to clients facing a range of psychological and physical challenges. This position involves collaboration with various programs and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments and offer psychoeducational support to clients
- Engage with interdisciplinary teams during client discussions
- Maintain effective communication with colleagues, clients, and relevant stakeholders
- Provide insights and guidance for case management to therapy teams
- Support and mentor team members in addressing clients' psychosocial needs
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's Degree in Counselling or Clinical Psychology
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in rehabilitation or return-to-work settings
- Registered with the appropriate professional association
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience with chronic pain management and post-concussion issues is advantageous
