Position Title: Licensed Clinical Therapist

Work Environment: Primarily In-Clinic

Lifemark Health Group is in search of a skilled and approachable Licensed Clinical Therapist to enhance our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our interdisciplinary team by providing comprehensive intake assessments and therapeutic services for clients experiencing a range of psychological and physical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment, consultation, and psychoeducational services to clients
  • Engage actively in regular team meetings that involve clients and interdisciplinary team members
  • Facilitate effective communication with staff, clients, employers, referral sources, family members, and fellow therapists
  • Provide psychological case management insights and guidance to therapy teams regarding initial assessments, treatment planning, client progress, conflict resolution, stakeholder discussions, problem-solving, and discharge planning
  • Ensure quality reporting and communication
  • Offer orientation and mentorship to assist team members in managing clients' psychosocial challenges

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's Degree in Counselling or Clinical Psychology
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a return-to-work or physical rehabilitation context
  • Professional registration with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC)
  • Ability to employ creative and structured methods to empower clients in self-management
  • Proficient in writing clear and detailed reports and correspondence
  • Capable of adapting communication styles and methods to suit individual client needs
  • Experience with chronic pain and post-concussive symptoms is advantageous
