Lifemark Health Group is on the lookout for a personable and skilled Licensed Clinical Therapist to become a vital part of our dedicated team at the Lifemark Physiotherapy Nordel Way Clinic. This role involves collaborating with our interdisciplinary team and delivering comprehensive intake assessments and therapeutic services to clients facing a range of psychological and physical challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, consultations, and psychoeducational services for clients
- Engage actively in regular team meetings with clients and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain effective communication with staff, clients, employers, referral sources, family members, and fellow therapists
- Provide psychological case management guidance to therapy teams regarding initial assessments, treatment planning, client progress, conflict resolution, stakeholder discussions, problem-solving, and discharge planning
- Ensure quality reporting and communication
- Offer orientation and mentoring to support team members in managing clients' psycho-social issues
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's Degree in Counselling or Clinical Psychology
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in return-to-work or physical rehabilitation settings
- Professional registration with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC)
- Proficient in employing creative and structured approaches to assist clients in self-management
- Ability to produce clear and comprehensive reports and correspondence
- Skilled in adapting communication styles and methods to suit individual clients and situations
- Experience with chronic pain and post-concussive symptoms is an asset
