Hotel Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Howard Johnson Inn. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the work of hotel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
- Guest Services: Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
- Operations Management: Oversee the efficient operation of hotel systems, equipment, and facilities, ensuring that all are maintained to a high standard.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
- Inventory and Supplies: Requisition and manage inventory and supplies to ensure that the hotel has the necessary resources to operate effectively.
- Security and Safety: Ensure that the hotel maintains a safe and secure environment for guests and staff, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a hotel management or supervisory role
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and work under pressure
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, and a team player
