Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the work of hotel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
- Provide guidance, training, and feedback to staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
- Guest Services
- Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
- Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues in a fair and efficient manner.
- Operations and Maintenance
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of hotel facilities, including rooms, public areas, and equipment.
- Ensure that all hotel systems, including computer systems and equipment, are functioning properly and make repairs as needed.
- Human Resources
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
- Manage staff schedules, time-off requests, and performance evaluations.
- Financial Management
- Monitor and control hotel expenses, including labor costs, supplies, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve hotel profitability.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Work Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a hotel management or supervisory role
- Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic security clearance
