Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Howard Johnson Inn. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the housekeeping team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Inspect and Maintain Standards: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Recommend Services: Identify areas for improvement and recommend additional services to enhance the guest experience.
- Assist with Daily Operations: Assist housekeeping staff with their duties as needed, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking; standing for extended periods; bending, crouching, kneeling
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment; tight deadlines; repetitive tasks
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
- Initiative: Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
- Judgement: Ability to make sound decisions and take responsibility for actions
- Reliability: Consistent and dependable in meeting commitments and deadlines
