Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of glycol processing equipment, ensuring the well-being of yourself and all internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor glycol processing equipment units to ensure optimum production and efficiency.
  • Maintain glycol processing equipment according to Inland's maintenance manuals and SOPs.
  • Complete and distribute daily glycol processing equipment production reports accurately.
  • Perform quality assurance sampling of all production processes at regular intervals.
  • Perform general maintenance on concentrators as directed by management.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and make good judgments.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to interpret documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to safely operate a motorized vehicle in inclement weather.
  • General mechanical competence and ability to effectively use hand tools.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and good-natured attitude.
  • Must be comfortable working at various heights.
  • Ability to remain calm and perform under pressure and within fixed time constraints.

Work Environment:

The Equipment Operator will have a mixture of operational and office duties. While much of the job will be performed in an indoor production facility, there will be exposure to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and may be excessive at times.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds regularly.
  • Employees must have the ability to climb 15-foot heights for work.
  • Position involves standing or sitting for extended periods of time, as well as bending, kneeling, lifting, climbing, using hands to control tools and feel objects, reaching with hands and arms.
  • Ability to work in a confined space for extended periods of time.
  • Work outdoors for long periods when necessary.
  • Wearing of personal protective equipment when required and full mobility allowing for freedom of movement in a high-risk environment.
  • Must be able to speak clearly and hear efficiently.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
