Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for helping with the design services for bridge design, road design, infrastructure, industrial/commercial structures, land development, as well as field services projects in the public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of engineering designs and related documents for various projects.
  • Perform field reviews during various stages of projects throughout construction.
  • Collaborate with structural or civil team to assist with the development of engineering design and related documents.
  • Ensure completion of work within allotted schedules and budgets to high quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural and registered as an EIT with APEGA in the province of Alberta.
  • Minimum 1+ years of structural/civil engineering experience is an asset, but not necessary. New graduates will be considered.
  • Experience performing construction layout reviews or surveys considered an asset.
  • Experience reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFI's considered an asset.
  • Experience in the design of concrete, steel, and timber structures is desired considered an asset.
  • Experience supporting the delivery of projects on schedule, on budget, in scope at the required quality and achieving client satisfaction.
  • Experience with AutoCAD considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written).
  • Proven ability to interact with clients and to collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined environment.
  • Technical competence and strong attention to detail.
