Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Provincial Director, Public Partnership Development to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting BC Builds' role in the creation of new rental housing for middle-income households, facilitating the delivery of a portfolio of project proposals, and providing leadership to a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote BC Builds' role in the creation of new rental housing for middle-income households.
  • Facilitate the delivery of a portfolio of project proposals, ensuring successful project execution and coordination with various stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership to a team of professionals, driving, coaching, and motivating staff to achieve team goals.
  • Identify lands owned by local governments, First Nations, faith groups, and other public and community organizations to create an ongoing pipeline of development opportunities.
  • Manage the review and evaluation of proposed partner project sites, designs, construction specifications, cost estimates, and development schedules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in urban land economics, land use planning, real estate development and financing, or other relevant fields.
  • Extensive project management experience in developing multi-unit residential housing and mixed-use developments.
  • Excellent knowledge of project management philosophies and practices, including project scope, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to examine, assess, and synthesize complex data and information to identify risks, develop options, and produce business cases and reporting.
