Senior Environmental Project Manager

Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Senior Project Manager will supervise projects for a diverse clientele and will aim to become the primary contact for a designated group of clients.

Key Responsibilities at Pinchin

  • Oversee a range of regulatory and due diligence projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Engage with clients to comprehend their project needs.
  • Draft proposals for prospective projects.
  • Conduct senior technical reviews of regulatory and due diligence submissions.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department to foster new client relationships and sustain existing ones.
  • Enhance leadership and mentorship abilities by guiding junior and intermediate staff.

Qualifications for the Pinchin Team

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Science (preferably Environmental or Earth Sciences) or a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
  • A P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in environmental consulting, with at least three years in a project management role.
  • Proficiency in conducting and managing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments for transactional due diligence, including soil vapour and indoor air quality assessments.
  • Experience with Phase One and Two Environmental Site Assessments for filing Records of Site Condition as per regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with Excess Soil Management regulations.
  • Experience in underground storage tank removal and remedial excavations in compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Competence in invoicing, budgeting, and project financial management.
  • Experience in business development and client engagement.
  • Excellent communication and professional presentation skills.
  • Strong writing capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • A valid driver's license and insurance are required.
