About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Environmental Project Manager to join our team at GHD. As a key member of our Project Engineering Design and Construction team, you will be responsible for leading complex environmental remediation projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior leadership and mentorship to project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of environmental remediation projects.
  • Develop and implement strategies for complex remediation and risk management, working closely with clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage design projects, including project teams, budgets, timelines, and deliverables, to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop and review technical environmental reports, drawings, and specifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for clients, leveraging your expertise in environmental engineering and project management.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in environmental engineering and project management.
  • Accredited Professional Engineer in Canada or the US.
  • Civil or environmental engineering degree.
  • Possession of PE designation to stamp/certify designs.
  • RMP designation considered an asset.
  • Experience with developing and implementing strategies for complex remediation and/or risk management.
  • Experience in the technical delivery of investigations, designs, and construction support for environmental remediation projects in Canada and the US.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian (including Ontario) environmental legislation.
  • Understanding of US environmental legislation considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Strong commitment to client service excellence.
