Position Overview

ORBCOMM is seeking a dynamic and driven Vice President of Sales Management to lead our sales initiatives. The VP of Sales Management will be accountable for promoting ORBCOMM's diverse range of products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of Business Development Managers.
  • Translate strategic vision into actionable sales plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Regularly assess and discuss the progress of sales objectives.
  • Prepare monthly sales reviews and forecasts in alignment with established targets.
  • Utilize leadership skills to bridge gaps between actual performance and forecasted results.
  • Align team capabilities with tasks to ensure optimal engagement and productivity.
  • Guide the team in securing new business from existing clients.
  • Provide coaching, constructive feedback, and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, business unit leaders, and senior management to foster collaboration.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by the executive leadership team.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Sales Management within the IoT and/or Satellite/Connectivity sectors. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential. Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Teams, MS Office Suite, and SFDC, is required.
