Job Overview:

As a pivotal member of the Dentsu Creative team, the Senior UI Designer will report directly to the UI Lead. This role is ideal for an individual who possesses a fervor for exceptional design and seamless user interactions. The candidate should have a refined aesthetic sensibility and a strong capability to distill complex challenges into straightforward solutions. A keen interest in contemporary web and digital trends is essential, along with the ability to juggle multiple projects with efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders, including client partners, to craft and implement UI kits, design systems, and pattern libraries.
  • Act as a primary contact for clients, steering projects across various accounts.
  • Rapidly comprehend intricate and ambiguous concepts, proposing sophisticated design solutions.
  • Contribute to user research and synthesize findings to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with UX Design to innovate workflows and enhance project efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in developing innovative and visually compelling user experiences.
  • Proven track record in a dynamic environment, adept at project estimation and collaboration with project management to ensure timely delivery.
  • In-depth knowledge of UX methodologies, including sitemaps, personas, consumer research, and wireframes.
  • Strong commitment to accessible design, with an understanding of current standards and limitations.
  • Degree in visual design, interaction design, or a related field.
  • An impressive design portfolio showcasing successful delivery of diverse and innovative design solutions.
  • Expertise in Figma, with a solid grasp of component-based design principles.
  • Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma, ProtoPie, Principle, or Origami.
  • Ability to produce final graphic assets for impeccable design execution.
  • Self-driven, capable of working autonomously while managing multiple tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Exceptional communication, coordination, scheduling, and collaboration skills, with a strong emphasis on organization.

Additional Information:

The compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $105,000, with actual salary determined by a variety of factors including relevant experience and expertise. Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, RRSP, and paid time off, are available to all permanent employees.
