About the Role

As a key member of the NuChem Sciences team, the Human Resources Advisor will play a pivotal role in driving the company's success.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement strategic initiatives related to staffing, talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, training, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Hiring Process: Participate in the recruitment process, including writing job descriptions, posting job ads, analyzing resumes, conducting interviews, and creating employment contracts.
  • New Employee Orientation: Plan and coordinate the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • HR Marketing and Talent Attraction: Develop and implement innovative strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Employee Engagement: Organize and coordinate social activities to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • HR Support: Serve as a resource person for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, programs, and benefits.
  • Performance Evaluation: Participate in the annual performance evaluation and appraisal process.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate and plan training activities to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to current policies, laws, and regulations, and update HR systems as needed.
  • Program Development: Review existing programs and develop, implement, and manage new HR initiatives.
  • Strategic Planning: Propose development strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • HR Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French (oral and written).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Sense of responsibility and good judgment.
