About the Job

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team for a 20-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding. They will also be responsible for HR operations, benefits, payroll, and administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment and talent management. They will be responsible for:

  • Responding to HR-related questions and concerns from employees
  • Coordinating the recruitment process, including job postings and candidate screening
  • Preparing and submitting job offers and employment contracts
  • Supporting managers with HR-related tasks and employee relations
  • Coordinating HR projects related to talent development, employee engagement, and succession planning
  • Providing HR data and reports to management
  • Supporting the SST coordinator with workers' compensation and disability claims

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment and talent management
  • Knowledge of Quebec labor laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Knowledge of JDEdwards and Google Sheets
