Position Overview:
We are seeking a Global Benefits and Leaves Specialist who will oversee the administration of employee benefits, manage leave of absence processes, and conduct benefits reporting analytics. This role serves as the primary point of contact for all employee benefit inquiries.

Key Qualifications:

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving organizational environment.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in managing group benefits and leave programs, with exposure to both North American and international markets.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset that fosters a positive workplace atmosphere.
  • Strong organizational capabilities with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • High proficiency in software and systems, including HRIS, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience in broader total rewards programs, such as equity and compensation, is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer employee benefit and retirement plans, including handling enrollments, terminations, life events, payments, and fulfilling monthly and annual reporting obligations.
  • Manage data analytics and reporting on global benefits, retirement, total rewards, and disability programs.
  • Provide first-line support to internal stakeholders regarding relevant policies and procedures.
  • Review benefit plans and internal documentation to ensure alignment with plan member materials.
  • Assist in global benefit renewals through plan reviews and analyses.
  • Oversee all leave programs (parental, sick, disability) and facilitate return-to-work processes in collaboration with HR business partners.
  • Maintain employee records throughout the leave lifecycle, including calculating top-ups, reporting data to payroll, and updating relevant systems with leave information.
  • Keep member records updated globally for all life events, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Collaborate with payroll and finance departments on benefits-related payments, allocations, and deductions.
  • Stay informed about global benefits regulations, legislation, and market trends.
