Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Specialist to support our global benefits operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in administering benefits plans and wellness initiatives, with a strong understanding of benefits principles and practices in multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer day-to-day operations of global benefit plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations, while ensuring compliance with legal standards.
  • Monitor employee feedback and address benefit-related queries, processing benefit deductions and taxation impacts.
  • Support the global leave intake process for various leave requests, ensuring timely completion of year-end audits and compliance requirements.
  • Review and reconcile monthly benefit invoices for accuracy, ensuring timely submission to Finance.
  • Process salary updates as required for Canada and the U.S., managing the Benefits mailbox with careful analysis and sound judgment.
  • Manage the Wellness Reimbursement Program and assist with the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EAP).
  • Assist with Pension Plan administration and drive company-wide wellness communications, promoting wellness themes and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with extensive knowledge of U.S. benefits experience.
  • Proven experience in benefits and wellness administration in a global context, with a strong understanding of benefits principles and practices in multiple countries.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with proficiency in using HRIS and benefits administration systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
